Hoppler Celebrates A Wonderful White Christmas
Everyone looked exceptionally dashing in their white attire as Hoppler White Christmas took place at Sky Deck in The Residences at Greenbelt last December 3, 2015. People were able to catch up with one another and enjoy the rest of the evening filled with fun and glamour.
The ladies exuded elegance in their white dress while the gentlemen looked fine in their white shirt and suit.
As people enjoyed the lavish buffet dinner, talented individuals from the Marketing Department, Listings Department and Sales Department offered song numbers to serenade the crowd with their beautiful voices.
After dinner, the night became more interesting with group games that encouraged teambuilding among individuals from different departments. The first game was called Cheese Ring Relay where ten people were divided into two teams. The mechanics of the game is to transfer a cheese ring from one team mate to another using only a straw. The team with the most number of cheese rings gathered in a minute wins.
During the fun activity, participants clearly gave their best not just to bag the surprising prizes in store for them, but to enjoy the friendly competition between the teams. It was a fun way to inspire camaraderie among teammates.
The second game was called “Kantaririt” where ten people were divided into two teams. The rule of the game was to guess the name of the song as a teammate tries to mimic the tune of a song using one word instead of the lyrics. In this game, the first team used the word “Arf” and the second team used the word “Mwah”. The team with the most number of correct guesses in a minute wins.
The highlight of the game was the participation of two of Hoppler’s big bosses, our Chairman John Riad for Team Mwah and our Chief Executive Officer Ramon Ballesca Jr. for Team Arf. During the game, everybody laughed their hearts out as we witnessed the humorous side to them.
After the games, it was time for the gift exchange where the Secret Santas finally revealed their “baby” and handed to them their Christmas gifts with wide smiles and warm embrace.
Next was the Awarding Ceremony where exceptional employees were given recognition for their hard work and dedication significant to the company’s success. The Broker of the Year was awarded to Ms. Michelle Casas, Commercial Sales and Leasing Real Estate Specialist and the Employee of the Year award was given to Mr. Alvier Marqueses, Digital Marketing Lead of Hoppler.
All in all, it was a great Christmas for us here in Hoppler. The employees had a great night mingling and establishing new friendships with one another while enjoying the good view of Makati skyline at night. We would like to thank everyone who has become a part of Hoppler’s journey for 2015. Indeed, it was a great year for all of us.
