2017 Real Estate Trends at Headstart Kickoff Event
Brokers gathered at Acceler8 in Makati City last February 7, 2017 for Headstart, a kickoff event hosted by Megaworld Alpha together with Hoppler. The event showcased this year’s trends in real estate as well Megaworld Alpha’s projects developments.
Hoppler CEO Ramon Ballesca started the night by giving a presentation on the real estate trends for this year. He divided his presentation into three different sub-topics:
Trends in the Philippines
- How customers now use data to make decisions, have become more independent in sourcing properties and how these customers seek more convenience in payment processing.
Trends from Abroad
- Countries investing more in the Philippines, increase in Philippine tourism and the Philippine Peso weakening against other currencies
Trends in Metro Manila
- Trend in rental prices and increase in short-term rental demand and supply
